Leroy Sanders has served the Atlanta homeless and hungry for the past ten
years, and has operated a transitional housing facility at 866 Warner Street in the West-End of Atlanta.
God’s Favorite People is a publicly supported non-profit
organization that specializes in helping the less fotunate, homeless, mentally challenged in and around the
City of Atlanta for the last 11 years. The organization provides emergency, transitional, and permanent
housing to over 100 men, women, and children. We have served over 500,000 hotmeals and given over 600,000 free beds to the less
fortunate in the surroiunding community.

While serving the
homeless and hungry of this city for the past eleven years, Leroy Sanders has recognized the severity of the men and women who live on the street and knows that hunger
and homelessness is only a part of the existing problem with these individuals
Leroy Sanders is sure that the drug
and alcohol problems come from a lack of resources and attention to these people on the streets. Leroy Sanders says, “a man needs more than food and a bed, they need
help”.
We have rehabilitated over
100 men that have regained the stability of their lives while being productive in their communities. Through the wisdom, guidance, and counseling from the Founder,
Leroy Sanders, the organization has been able to survive.
If thine enemy be
hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink. (Proverbs 25:21)
