While visiting a friend challenged with life-threatening symptoms of sickness, I
discovered a need that was not being met. Surrounding my friend were balloons with messages like, "Get Well Soon" and "Hope You're Feeling Better." She expressed a desire for balloons with healing scriptures printed on them. She said, "Someone needs to make some balloons that have healing scriptures written on them, because when I don't have the strength to read my Bible, I could look at my balloons and confess the healing scriptures."
Each time I visited my friend after that, she would mention the healing balloons planting the idea
as a seed in my heart. My friend has gone home to be with the Lord. But, with her death, the seed that was planted in my heart began to take root.
I pondered the idea of taking my friend's
desire and making it a reality. I asked
the Lord in prayer whether I should do it or not and to give me scriptures to stand on. Several weeks later in prayer I perceived that the Lord gave me the following scripture:
"The Lord told
him, [Moses] make a replica of a poisonous snake and attach it to the top of a pole. Those who are bitten will live if they simply look at it.
So Moses made a snake out of
bronze and attached it to the top of a pole, whenever those who were bitten looked at the bronze snake, they recovered."
Num21:8,9(KJV)
Satisfied that this was the answer I was seeking,
I stepped out on faith. With the help, guidance and counsel of the Holy Spirit, I present
