COMPANY PROFILE
COUNTY BLUES JEANS CO.
County Blues Jeans Company, a Philadelphia-based company, was founded in 1993 by Joseph Manning. Geared to a young market, ages 15 to 24, County Blues fashions are primarily targeted to
young males although many of the items are unisex. All of County Blues clothes is made and manufactured in the United States.
The fashion mainstay, denim, makes up approximately 50% of the County Blues line with the remainder being an assortment of other fabrics. The line also features "a lot of stripes and
different varieties and shades of blue," which Manning says he would like to see become a signature mark for County Blues clothing.
The County Blues line includes jackets, classic jeans, sweatshirts and imprinted and contemporary sportswear. The line also features an array of matching jacket and hat sets. The company's
talented design staff, which has been designing clothing for 10 years, is complete with a number of graduates of the acclaimed Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Being a part of
the market that they serve, the staff truly understands the fashion industry and can easily spot new trends.
County Blues clothing has gained widespread popularity and has been worn by some nationally known music artists in their videos. The moderately priced clothing is available in cities in
the Eastern Region of the United States. Plans are still in effect to expand the line throughout the U.S. and internationally.
Manning describes the line as "clothes that you can be comfortable in yet they are stylish and durable". He would like County Blues to be known as a company that is active in communities.
Plans for career days at local schools are in the works. He also notes that County Blues clothing is "total excellence from conception to production". To ensure County Blues is on top of
the latest fashions, Manning says County Blues' "ear is always open to their market".
